Scrappleface thinks that birth control is evil. his reasoning is that it lets young girls have sex without horrid consequences. and we can't have that!
I replied: cause actually sex is evil, unless you get a wizard to perform a "marriage ritual" spell, which makes it ok.
thus far all I got back was someone replying that I have issues. good argument! ho hum.

I've never met "ScrappleFace", but as far as I can tell, the story you reference doesn't say anything about birth control being "evil".
Of course, I have "issues" as well...but they're just back issues of Reader's Digest and there's nothing I can do about them.
very funny Scott
PS I do like ur site, usually.

i like this :)
because it's saying that religion (including atheists who didn't drop the marriage memes connected to the religion-memeplex they have) is magical. and the context is that most people would laugh at the idea that magic is real, yet will be totally ready to accept the same kind of stuff in religion. it's a contradiction and they don't know it. they don't see religion and magic as the same kind of thing.
and i like it because it reminds me of playing RPGs with wizards and magic spells.
and i like it because it mocks the idea that the morality of people having sex hinges on whether or not they are married.
